This book... it’s not just a love story | As long as lemon trees grow Book Review

It’s something much deeper. It shows how war can shatter people—not just physically, but emotionally. It tears families apart, breaks souls, and changes people forever. But somehow, even in the middle of all that darkness, there’s still a small light of hope that keeps them going. It isn’t just about two people falling in love. It’s about what it means to lose your home, your loved ones, your sense of safety—and still try to survive. Still try to dream. It made me realize how much our families and our countries mean to us, even if we don’t always say it out loud. The pain in this story felt so real, but so did the strength. I don’t even know if I should call the ending happy or sad. Maybe it’s both. But what I do know is that someone in this story found a way to keep living. And that, in itself, is powerful. If you're looking for a book that will break your heart and then slowly stitch it back together, this is the one.
